Croeso i Ddosbarth Mr Gregory!
CROESO! WELCOME! WITAMY!
Welcome to our class page! Here you'll find out what has been going on in 3/4G!
Spring term 2024!
Ein Gwlad Ffantastig! Our Fantstic country!
During out sessiwn Cymraeg this week, we have been learning about Welsh place names. We have looked at places with Llan, Pont, Caer and Tref in the name. We found so many interesting and unusual place names. Our favourite was definitely "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch"! It means "St Mary’s Church in the Hollow of the White Hazel Near to the Rapid Whirlpool of Llantysilio of the Red Cave" We think we'll just keep to "Y Trallwng"!
The great 3/4G Bake off!
To celebrate Dydd Santes Dwynwen (St Dwynwen's Day), 3/4G have baked some delicious biscuits! We weighed, mixed and baked our biscuits before sharing them with our loved ones at home!
World religion day 2024
We have taken part in World Religion Day 2024. We have looked at some of the Religions in our world to compare and contrast. We have found lots of similarities and have even designed a new logo for the day!
3/4G Measuring Masterclass!
This week we have focused on measuring length during our Mathematics and Numeracy sessions. We have used rulers, metre sticks, measuring tapes and trundle wheels to measure a variety of objects in millimetres, centimetres, metres and even kilometres (although we used Google Maps for that one!)
Discussion Detectives!
3/4G have been looking at ways to develop their discussion skills. They have created 6 rules:
We're really excited to see how our discussions develop over the coming weeks!
- We show that we listen
- We respect what other people say
- We question, challenge and add to people's ideas
- We are prepared to change our mind
- We ask others to join our conversations
- We try to reach a shared agreement
We're really excited to see how our discussions develop over the coming weeks!
Blwyddyn newydd dda!
We have started the New Year by looking at New Year Resolutions! We sang Auld Lang Syne, reflected on 2023 and discussed our hopes for 2024. Our New Year Resolutions included: help out at home, improve reading skills, get to bed earlier, exercise before school and try to eat more vegetables! We've a feeling that it is going to be a good year!
Blwyddyn Newydd Dda to all our children, parents and carers! We're all looking forward to the first term of 2024! Let's hope it's a good one!

Welcome back...kind of!
After such a long wait, we are so pleased to be able to officially move into our new classroom. It's a real shame that we can't all be here together, but I'm sure we're not far away from "normality".
merry christmas and a happy new year from 3/4g!
