Religion, Values and Ethics
We are very proud of our new Reflection Room!
The children have been using the new space as a focus for prayer and for deeper thinking about important issues.
Recently, they have used the space to explore their feelings regarding the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. They have used pennies as a starting point for prayer.
Our next prayer space project will be focused on Christmas and will allow the children to explore feelings of thankfulness and to discuss equity.

Our Worship Leaders went to St. Mary's Church to light candles and to pass on our messages of condolence following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
We received a letter from the new King thanking us for our messages of condolence.
Years 5 and 6 visited the Gurdwara in Telford. Our hosts were very welcoming and generous. We loved finding out about their faith, and to gain awareness and respect for Sikh beliefs, teaching and practices. We were able to talk about our faith and see the similarities and differences. We wanted to know how the Sikh beliefs and practices impact on their lives and their local community.
